Usb Touch Screen Can't Get PDA Touch Screen To Work When Connected To USB Cable?

Can't get PDA touch screen to work when connected to USB cable? - usb touch screen

I have a venerable Sony Clie S360. It is more than 6 years of great work. However, I recently had this problem. When you connect the USB cable into the connector on the Clie in the bottom of the PDA, not the screen tocuh.

Just to clarify things connect - the cable, I mean, even before I started to hot-sync. (Actually, I can not hot-sync button HS like everything I have is on the PDA screen.)

When I say that the screen does not work, I mean specifically as a touch screen - the graphcis are still visible, and I use the Physica; keys below the screen and scroll wheel. Since the touch-screen buttons useless - nothing happens, no matter how often I touch.

I try to press the HotSync button, and connect them by then, perhaps, but it does not help.

I have not used a Clie in ages (I started with the N760C).

It appears that your screen is only partially functional (you can always press the HotSync button on the screen). Have you tried recalibrating the screen? "This only happens when you try to HotSync? This only works if you use the adapter to load?

Perhaps we could try a soft reset by and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise, you can back up your camera and go after a hard reset (if all other methods fail).

Sorry, can no longer useful.
